And the recipient of the 2005 CALDWELL CUP is...
FARMHOUSE FRATERNITY !
During half-time awards ceremonies at this year's homecoming football game against the Golden Eagles of Souther Miss, the 2005 Caldwell Cup Winner was announced... and it is FARMHOUSE!

Named for former NCSU Chancellor John T. Caldwell, the Caldwell Cup is the highest annual recognition that any IFC Chapter may receive. In order for a chapter to be considered in contention as a "Caldwell Chapter", they must score greater than 80% in the combined areas of Standards Program, Academic Performance, Greek Week, Intrumural Sports, and the IFC Canned Food Drive. From all Caldwell Chapters, the three highest in overall standings are chosen as finalist, with the winner being announed during homecoming half-time awards ceremonies.
This years Caldwell finalist were revealed at the "Order of Omega and Standard of Excellence Awards 2005 Ceremony" on Wednesday evening, October 26th. IFC Graduate Advisor, Mr. Daniel Frezza announced that the three finalists were FarmHouse, Chi Psi, and Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI). This year's competition covered the period from Fall Semester 2004 through Spring Semester 2005.
Excitement continued to build over the next three days during which FH participated in the homecoming parade on Hillsborough Street. Then on Saturday afternoon during half-time, the moment everyone was waiting for finally arrived. Awards Finalists took the field. Standing on the 50-yard line as the announce was made, FarmHouse Chapter President Grant Culp received the Caldwell Cup for his chapter...and out in the stands the chapter's brothers, their parents, alumni, and friends and supporters of FarmHouse went wild! What an amazing moment, and what a fantastic time to be part of FarmHouse.

FH President Grant Culp raises the Caldwell Cup on the 50-yard line of Carter-Finley Stadium to the cheers of 57,000 NC State fans during Homecoming half-time ceremonies.
This year's Caldwell Cup award is the first time the NC State Chapter has been the recipient since 1985, although it has been a finalist several times during that period. FarmHouse was the Caldwell Cup recipient in 1973, 1983, 1984, 1985, and 2005.

University Chancellor James L. Oblinger congratulates Grant Culp and the NC State Chapter on its outstanding achievement.
